Hostage Records was founded in the summer of 1996 by two vinyl diehards

Rick and Paul Hostage. The focus and

foundation were the same, to document thru image and sound, the Orange County punk scene. The true sound of the OC underground. Along the way, Hostage

has debuted many legendary bands; Smogtown, The Drips, The Fakes, Duane Peters and the Hunns, The Pushers, Discontent and many more. Hostage was raised on Posh Boy punk, so it's no surprise that so many of the OC scene's legendary bands have found a home here. The Crowd, Shattered Faith, CH3 amongst others. Vinyl is King.
